Communication in the 1920's

In the 1920's most people communicated by mail.

Televisions didn't exist in the 20's, so people used to read a lot more than they do today.

They were only 4 or 5 different newspapers to choose from.

People didn't have computers, mobile phones or beepers, but most people had a radio.

Communication in the 1930's

Most people communicated by sending letters and post cards to their friends or family who lived far away.

Television didnít exist, thatís the reason why everyone communicated by writing letters. The majority of people didnít have phones at home, it wasnít like nowadays, although a few ones did. There were different newspapers, news and events had to be transmitted by paper. News could also be transmitted by radio. These were the two most important ways of informing people. There were more postmen than there are nowadays, because before people didnít have mobile phones, beepers or computers.
