Primary 4 Fundraising
On
Wednesday, 4th March P.4 sold cakes and candy to the other children
in the school to raise money for S.C.I.A.F. We do it every year in
Lent time. This is what we thought about it:-

It was
the first time we had sold to others and I was quite nervous at
first. I sold my cakes for 15p and then I reduced them to 10p.
Helen-Jayne Miller
I set
out cakes. Lots of people came to my table. I was busy and careful at
counting the money. My teacher was going round getting change from
other tubs.
Liam McLean
I was
excited. I was getting lots of people because of the Lucky Dip. The
children put their hand into a box and had to find something hidden.
Most of them got a lollipop. I enjoyed it! It was good fun.!
Mark Smith
We
raised £115.35. We were busy all morning and I enjoyed it a lot.
I was selling cakes with my best friend Paul. He brought cakes in and
I did too. At first I was quite nervous then I got used to it.
Danielle Paton
I was
in my classroom and I was selling things to raise money for SCIAF. I
was selling some old toy cars and some books that I brought in. It
was exciting! Lots of people came to our Cake & Candy so it was a
big success. Can't wait till next year!
