Primary 7 Fundraising

During Lent 1998 the pupil's of St. Patrick's have been contributing to the Lenten campaign "Forgive Us Our Debts". Last week P.7 played their part by having a sponsored 'debt walk' to raise funds. The whole point of the walk was for us to know how people in 3rd World countries feel carrying a burden of debts on their backs. To experience this we filled rucksacks which consisted of books,weights and dictionaries. With these rucksacks on our back we travelled round the perimeter of the school three times. After, the walk helped me realize the burden these people have to deal with everyday.
