The
Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund, traditionally known as
S.C.I.A.F. was set up thirty years ago. It is a charitable
organization set up to help poorer countries in the 3rd World. Its
main focus each year is raising funds during the Lenten
Campaign, where its building momentum is now a tradition in Scottish
Catholic schools and sees many of them taking part in fun
fund-raising activities. Apart from the excitement generated during
the events, the children inheret a great sense of achievment that
their efforts ,in some small way, are helping people less fortunate
than themselves.
