| Het Slachtfeest is een feest na
de Ramadan. Het Feest duurt drie dagen lang. Op de eerste dag moet je vroeg
naar de moskee gaan om te bidden. Je moet ook je hele familie bezoeken,
en als je met iemand ruzie had, dan moest je het goed maken. De slachtfeest
is ontstaan door de profeet Ibrahim. Hij zat een dag voor de slachtfeest
te dromen wat hij ging slachten. Want hij had geen geld om een dier te
kopen om hem te slachten. Op de dag van het feest pakte hij een scherpe
mes om zijn zoon Ismael te slachten en zette de mes op de keel van van
zijn zoon, maar toen de profeet zijn zoon wou slachten, toen was de mes
bot geworden.. En opeens kwam zomaar een schaap langs wandelen, hij pakte
de mes en hij heeft de schaap geslacht. Daarmee vierde hij de slachtfeest.
Zo is het slachtfeest ontstaan, want wat de profeet heeft gedroomd is in
het echt gebeurd.

The feast will last three days. The first day must you go to the mosgue to pray.After the prayer you must go to home.Tha you bring your sheep to the slaughter house. After the special meal you must go to visit your family. If you are bad with somebody than you must make it good again. The sheepfeast comes from the prophet Ibrahim. The prophet was a poor man. The day before the sheepfeast the prophet had a dream, how to celebrate the feast. The prophet took a knife to sacrifice his son Ismael but his knife went blunt. Then a sheep came by and the prophet could sacrifice the sheep.  |
