The giraumon is originating in Caribbean, was cultivated in Caribbean Indians gardens. It multiplies by seeds and cuttings of stems. The crawling plant can reach 10 meters. The flowers, insulated, of yellow color, decorate the stem. The green or yellowish fruits, of very varied forms, contain many seeds flattened in an orange pulp dark.
