Lutemaker’s laboratory

Do you think that lute- maker’s laboratory is a modern factory where a lot of little robots move lever which trasform a bar of wood in a violin? Well, not. If we get into luter maker’s laboratory we can discover the simplicity and the manual skill of old times. We’ve talking about a little room: "a hole"; joking apart it’s really a tiny room. The walls are full of shelves where the lute-maker puts in order his instruments and the different materials. The lute-makers must have space where he is free to create a new instrument, we’ve speaking about the work-table. On the table the lute-maker cuts, engraves, sticks and paints, then he gives the finishing touch to the instrument. The real treasure of the work-shop are the violins hang up in the inside of the shop window like a little collection of priceless value.
