The construction   of violin

The lute maker takes three hundred hours of his job for the construction of the violin, at the beginning he needs an outline which is useful to shape the violin .

This is inspired by the model of Stradivari a famous lute maker of Cremona. First of all we proceed to the construction of the bottom , this must be rounded in order to produce a more melodious sound .

Later we pass to the application of the two lateral "c" produced with the wood of maple; at this point apply the bands of the same wood too .

Then the chamber is closed in the superior part by the harmonic panel carried out in pinewood maked precius with two carvings f-shaped, which are drawn in a first moment and then cut with the piercing.

For the construction of the handle it is necessary to get the ebany for the keyboard. After having been assembled we apply the strings , the pegs , the sound-post and the bridge .Finished the work , the lute maker tests the violin 's chords, and he modifies it if the sound isn't armonious. If the instrument is perfect, it is passed and passed again with different coats of paint, till to reach the gradiation of colours that the lute maker prefers. In this way the violin is finished and it is left to dry for three months.
