The story of "Kertasnikir"

Once upon a time there were two kids named Joey and Christina.It was near Christmas and they were looking very forward to the time which was coming. They had tried very hard to behave well, because "Kertasnikir", their favorite Christmas elve was coming tonight and they hoped he would put something good in their shoes at the window.

The elves who had comed the past nights, had all put something in their shoes.

Next morning, they rushed to the window, but there was nothing in their shoes.

They got very sorry and went outside to see if they could find Kertasnikir. They looked everywhere, but without success. Then they went back home again and they were very sorry.

In the evening, when they were having dinner, they heard a cough in the livingroom. They hurried in there to see who was coughing. But no one was to be seen.

They went back to finish their dinner, but then they heard it again. They went to the chimney and in there was "Kertsnikir" stucked.

They helped him to get loose and he gave them many presents.

Afterwards they invited him to eat smoked lamb with them and they said that this was the best Christmas they had ever had.
