It is very fun on the New years Eve.

Before dinner we go out and watch some of the bonfires that are lightened on the island. and then we have something delicious for dinner. Some eat ham, other eat lamb, etc.

After dinner we maybe have some cookies or candy. Many people watch a special comic program which is on the TV every New years Eve. Some people play cards.

Just before 12 o'clock we go outside and almost everybody in town has some rockets or bombs. When the time is exactly 12 o'clock the sky is lightened up with fireworks and rockets. It is very colorful.

When everybody has finished their rockets, we go inside and maybe have a little something to eat before we go to bed.

Many of the grown up people go to a dance after midnight.
